As a creative child, I would spend sleepless nights rearranging the furniture in my room. 20 years later I am still rearranging furniture and walls, but now it is for my clients.
Starting my business in my early twenties afforded me the opportunity to always be learning. My degree in studio painting and drawing, along with a minor in marketing, set me up with the perfect tools to do what I do now - long before I knew I would have a successful interior design business.
Today, after selling my business in Indy in 2013 and moving up to the suburbs of Chicago, I am blessed to have an amazing team of designers and talented contractors who allow us to transform our vision and our clients' desires into beautifully organized and completed spaces.
It is a pleasure to create beauty day after day, but it is not easy. Good things rarely are.
As a mom of three teenagers, I know first-hand how “life-giving” good design can be. If a well-designed kitchen can create an atmosphere for fun family cooking, then that is good design. If transforming an unused basement into a teen hangout, so that your house is where they want to be, then that is good design.
I am so thankful to be able to create spaces that transform lives, including my own.
Join me on my journey and you will see incredible before and afters - of tired spaces receiving a breath of new life. Our journey will be one of transformations - things will get ugly before they are fully made beautiful again, but that is life. There will be challenges we will overcome, but in the end, we will change lives with our designs. Come learn as we learn, and watch us create beautiful interiors, one space at a time.
